Microvox-harmonica
I play the Hohner 64 with a clean sound. I primarily play jazz and country. I've used it twice. Once in rehearsal and at a gig this past Saturday. I've played it directly through a PA and my Peavey Classic 30 amplifier. I'm going to see how it works tonight at a recording session. This microphone is amazing! I couldn't be happier. It is very easy to use. Everything is made with top notch materials. I've put away my Shure SM58.

Microvox-violin Thanks so much for the neat product. It really performed greater than expected. My instrument has never sounded so good amplified. I really appreciate your knowledge and expertise. Please feel free to use me as a reference. God bless.

Dr Tonemeister,
I made sure to get home in time today in case the mic got here. Sure enough the doorbell rang and it was a package..yea!! I took it out and let it warm up like you said while I plugged in my Gibson GA20 and my Sonny Jr Cruncher. I pulled out my best arsenal of about 6 mics including my favorite the Midnight Shift mic, Candy Apple red crystal, a Turner with a smoking CR another Astatic with a Ceramic that a good harp player friend gave me. Oh yea and that great 605 and brown Astatic you did for me.
I can't believe it! Your Astatic with the 46-48 crystal blew them all away. I knew it would sound good, but I wasn't prepared for how good it would sound. I couldn't believe it sounded better than the black CR elements. The bass response was so deep and incredible. The whole thing sounded amazing. I couldn't really turn my amps up with the downstairs neighbor, but I could tell this thing is very powerful with a great tone.

I used my new mic last night at a club in town. I played through the Sonny Jr. and reached the back of the place without going through the PA. Best of all I wasn't too loud, no feed back, and (as advertised) MONSTER TONE! Here's the beauty part. One of my compadres, Steve Scott, came in the joint. We got him up to play; kind of like a test drive. I think you'll be hearing from him. He's one of those techno guys who wants to know "what's in there?" I told him there was only one way to find out and passed along your contact information. Great job, as always.
